Laura English, 5th November 2023Fantastic trip from start to finish. This is quite honestly the best trip we have ever had. So much to do and see in Cape Town and the food in both Cape Town and Franschhoek was amazing. The Safari was the highlight and an experience we will never forget.

African Elite Waterfront Apartments
“Lovely accommodation with a nice view and a short walk to the V&A Waterfront. Very secure, we felt safe there at all times. The apartment had all the modern facilities you need for a comfortable stay. Note that if renting a car you need to park in the underground car park, we didn’t know that and got a note for parking in a visitor bay.”
Franschhoek Country House & Villas
“Very nice hotel, the rooms were comfortable and well kept. There was noise above our room on the last night which kept us awake (possibly a generator) but it was otherwise comfortable. Lovely pools, one heated and one cool with drinking water supplied all day and pool service if requested. The food was also very nice. The shuttle service was excellent, we were picked up and dropped off within a few minutes of requesting every time. It was very close to the wine tram station too.”
Shumbalala Game Lodge
“I would give 10 stars if possible! This was the highlight of the trip. The accommodation was beautiful and the service and food were amazing. There isn’t anything they could do better. Danielle and Irene made our stay so enjoyable and our game drive guide Kings and tracker Peter were amazing, so knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife. Safari was the most amazing experience and we will never forget it.”
