My expectations were sky-high, given that the trip was supposed to happen in 2020 and had been long-delayed and rescheduled several times. I was SO excited about it. And yet, the actual experience surpassed those out-of-control expectations. It was truly magical!

“Amazing people, beautiful setting. The food was not as "luxe" as the other two properties we visited, but it was certainly fine and the wonderful staff and lovely touches made up for it. We especially loved Hope & Prosper, who spent the most time with us, and Stan (our guide). We really enjoyed the Victoria Falls tour, the Lookout Cafe lunch, and the Elephant experience.”
Splash Camp
“Loved, loved, loved the staff and really everything about Splash Camp. Our guides, Godfrey & Dave, were amazing, as were our trackers Gooms & Khowa, who were outstanding and became true friends. Our kids are still communicating with them on social media. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, and they put on a lovely Christmas dinner for us all, performing some song & dance and in general being so generous with their time and spirit. Later that night we played a charades-type game and several staff members joined us. The food was outstanding, the rooms were lovely, and the Okavango Delta is truly one of the most gorgeous places on earth.”

“This was the crown jewel of our trip in terms of accommodations. It's breathtaking! The food was truly world-class; our group included some serious foodies from New York and San Francisco and we thought Chitwa Chitwa could go head-to-head with some of the most prominent restaurants in the world. The staff was outstanding, very professional and accomplished but also warm and friendly. We could not get over the beauty of the 'camp', which was really more like a five-star resort. I wish I could go back right now! Staff that stood out to us included our guide, Clayton, and tracker Ralph, as well as Busi, Branny, Nelson, and so many more beautiful people!”
