“It was a fine hotel for one night. Served our purposes, wouldn't stay here beyond a night.”
Ol Seki Hemingways Mara
“Above and beyond INCREDIBLE! We had a private game drive pretty much every day and saw everything in the Big 5. I can't believe we were staying in a tent because the decor was stunning and the bathroom and plumbing were top-of-the-line. The a la carte food each day was delicious, well-balanced, and enjoyable. They even gave us a private dinner in a cave one night. This is beyond entry-level 5-star. Ol Seki was the definition of luxury hospitality.”
The Residence Zanzibar
“The room smelt like mildew and there were stains on our pillows when we arrived. The buffet dinner was subpar. I'd say the Tamarind Tree has a better buffet. Going from Ol Seki to The Residence was whiplash because you went from a hotel with 20 people to a resort with 200 people. I wouldn't recommend this pairing in the future. The facilities in the hotel felt run down and it was not enjoyable to be around so many people after an intimate safari experience.”
Zawadi Hotel
“WOW WOW! This is PARADISE. So intimate, perfect for honeymooners. The food is just out of this world DIVINE, from the 3-course lunch to the 5-star dinner, and the absolute attention to catering to your allergies is completely over-the-top service. This was the perfect way to unwind after the safari. Lovely service and kindness all around. The rooms were beautiful, I just wish they had more color, but that's a personal preference.”

“Stuart was great! He really delivered on our budget, hotels, and flights. He showed us the power of having a travel expert. We had a flight canceled and he was on top of it before we even realized the flight was canceled. When we didn't vibe with the hotel we were staying at he was so quick to find us better accommodations. My only recommendation in the future is to try and get better at understanding a couple's hotel preferences when sharing options so they have the choice of paying more to find something that aligns with their tastes.”
