“Kichwa Tembo was outstanding. Stunning views, wonderful accommodations, and amazing service. We cannot say enough about how wonderful this place was! Would not change a thing!”
The Residence Zanzibar
“The Residence Zanzibar was slightly disappointing primarily due to the service. The staff was very slow and not accommodating. While we had an all-inclusive package getting drinks took quite long. Additionally, there was only one pool with not enough seats. We had no help from staff with moving pool chairs, setting up umbrellas, etc. There were also no lounge chairs/umbrellas set up on the beach. Additionally, there was only one pool and since children were allowed it was not the most pleasant, relaxing experience for a couple on a honeymoon. Our garden villa however was fabulous. That was the highlight for sure. Another disappointment was having to pay for room service. That should be a benefit of all-inclusive. There was also no butler assigned to us which meant we had to personally go to the front desks daily with our concerns. When we first arrived our villa was not ready and they ended up having to move us to a new villa. The new villa only had one bike. Small setbacks like that made The Residence an overall 3/5 for us. Tanzania is beautiful and we loved our visit to Stone Town! I would not recommend this property in the future to couples on honeymoon.”
