Honeymoon to Kenya & Tanzania
Daniel Coleman & Claire Fleming, 27th December 2012Kichwa Tembo and the Masai Mara was outstanding, the staff and food were amazing and the activities organised were superb. I would highly recommend this hotel to others as it was honestly fantastic. The Palacina Hotel was pure luxury, although we were only there for a one night it was amazing. Pongwe Beach was like something out of a dream, the white beaches and clear warm sea water was almost too good to be true!

“Kenya is one of my new favourite places to visit. The people are lovely and the food is fantastic. The highlight of our stay in Kenya was definately the safari drives with Benson and getting to see the endangered Black Rhino.”

“Parts of Tanzania are incredibly beautiful, Stone town is definately something that has to be visited, there is a lot of history on the little Island. The Pongwe beach was unbelievably clean and well kept and like something out of a film.”

Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp
“Kichwa Tembo was outstanding. The staff were excellent and so friendly. Everything about the hotel was superb. The organised a special dinner for us the last night of our stay outside on the decking with lanterns. It was beautiful. Every morning Simon (our room porter) used to deliver us tea and coffee with these beautiful ginger biscuits, then Benson our guide would take us out on our drive. He was incredible. So frienly and knowledgable. Yiecll our Butler in the resturant was also outstanding. Everything about our stay there was out of this world.”
Palacina The Residence & The Suites
“This is a beautiful hotel. The suite we were staying in was lovely. We had champange in our room on arrival. The staff again were fantastic. We had lunch in the resturant which was delicious. We had to check out at 5 in the morning and they had breakfast organised for us before we went. Great experience.”
Pongwe Beach Hotel
“Pongwe is a beautiful location. White sandy beaches and clear water. It is a beautiful place to stay. The rooms were lovely and spotless. The hotel staff were lovely and helpful,especially Steven who was in the dining room, he would organise different meals for me if the set menu included fish. He was great. The only thing about the hotel is that is a good distance to anywhere. Zanzibar town was an hour drive away and there was no shops or anywhere to go. But the hotel itself can't be faulted.”
