“Probably our favorite part of the trip. Staff was all exceptional, lodging was perfect, safari and guides were fantastic. Only comment was that they needed better pathway lighting. I slammed my foot into a rock when being led back in the dark. Other than that, was great.”

“Beautiful property, but upon arrival they had the Wetzels (married couple) in a room with two twin beds. So we had to wait 2 hours for them to sort out. The Wetzels were then upgraded to an oceanfront room, which was great for them, but we were stuck in a garden room (which was fine). Just wish they were a bit more prepared for our arrival. Everything else was great though. Liked the location, pool and beach area.”

The Lanzerac Hotel & Spa

“Overall a gorgeous property. Again, some issues about rooms upon arrival. Didn't have our luxury rooms, so put us in a standard room (which were gorgeous and perfectly fine) for the first night. Then moved us to new suites which weren't ready yet (floors dirty, paint wet, cabinets missing drawers, no working wifi, non-functional pool) for the last two nights. We'd have been fine staying in the original rooms. Again, lots of confusion on this at the hotel level and would have been a perfect stay had we not been forced to move around into unfinished rooms.”
