“The people are very friendly and are obviously very proud in trying hard to establish their country as a holiday destination.
Coming through security is a bit ridiculously slow.
The 2 highlights were arriving and seeing the gorgeous place lit at night and the dinner in our room, lovely reception.
And waking up the first morning and opening the blinds to see the white sand and clear blue water.”

“We were only at the airport and game reserve - and that in itself was just amazing. We would like to see more of SA as the people that we came across seemed really nice, and the passion that they had for their animals, and the knowledge was fantastic.
The whole of that trip was the highlight.”

Kwandwe Great Fish River Lodge
“Cant rate it high enough, excellent doesnt do it justice. We definately would love to return.
We met others there that had come back time after time and I think thats a great indication to the type place it is.
The staff were lovely and onhand but not too intrusive. The rooms itself were immaculate and every detail thought of. Beautiful doesnt describe the view enough.
And the food was amazing, even a fussy eater like me came away full, and as for my husband. ... 3 course breakfast, lunch and dinner!! Showed he thought it wasnt bad either ;-)”

“Le Prince Maurice was gorgeous, so clean and the staff were amazingly friendly. But again they gave you space when you wanted it when lying at the beach. I think the only thing we found was it was very expensive at the hotel, although we took a trip into the nearest town and bought a few things. Also there wasnt anything to do at night - At All. After a busy wedding period, then in S.A was all go at the reserve , we wanted to lie back and relax but we found the lack of choice in restaurants or entertainment at night a little repeditive. I think because we went in their winter things perhaps were a little quieter. I cant fault the staff or the hotel at all, we both enjoyed it very much its just to point that out for future guests.”

“Very personal, friendly and the trip was well thought out to meet our specific requirements. I liked that we werent being given the hard sell. We told Greg our budget and he came up with excellent choices within that budget. Yes there were options for added extras and upgrades but they were left completely to your own choosing.”
