There are eight contemporary suites, including a private four-bedroom villa, all linked by volcanic rock pathways to the central lodge. The suite interiors offer a tranquil haven with free-flowing indoor and outdoor area including a heated private pool in each suite. A sociable fire pit, bar-deli interactive kitchen and wine cellar complete the picture.
Singita Kwitonda Lodge is a short drive to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters for the transformative experience of coming face to face with the rare mountain gorilla. Here guests are matched with a guide before starting their hike into the dense cloud forest. Aside from gorilla trekking, there's also the opportunity to go on golden monkey treks as well as local market tours, visits to the Musanze caves and walks the gravesite, house and research site of Dian Fossey.
Approximately 2 hours 30 minutes by road from Kigali Airport. Alternatively, helicopter transfers are available from Kigali, followed by a short road transfer to the lodge.
