Alphonse is 1-hour by light aircraft from the main island of Mahe, although once here, you'll feel as though you're far, far away from the rest of Seychelles and in an entirely different world. Accommodation is set amongst lush vegetation beside white sand beaches on the eastern shore, all with ocean views and designed to blend with the natural environment. Beach Bungalows are the lead-in room type built in traditional A-frame style of Seychelles, while five larger Beach Suites (sleeping 2 adults & 2 children) have separate living area, plunge pool, sun deck and garden, as well as indoor and outside showers.

Two new superbly-appointed Beach Villas are also now available for the ultimate in luxury; sleeping up to 8 adults and 4 children each has 4 double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom, expansive living and dining areas, private pool and sundeck, large garden, plus a dedicated club car.

The main restaurant and bar are set beside the swimming pool. Dining offers the best of Creole cuisine and using many ingredients from the island's farm. Fresh fish is always on the menu with daily dishes including Asian-inspired flavours and sensational sashimi. Le Lys bar, set beside the white sand beach and ocean, is a sublime place to relax and exchange tales with fellow guests at the end of the day. For the ultimate treat, a selection of irreplaceable, exclusive cocktail and dining experiences can also be booked; these include a secluded beach picnic on nearby Bijoutier Island, private cocktails and private chef's dinner experience.

The Activity Centre is the hub for the majority of the island experiences including marine excursions, diving, snorkelling and fishing. There's a fully-equipped fishing centre and shop, well stocked with flies, rods and reels as well as special clothing for protection from the sun. A PADI Dive Centre offers discover scuba, open water, advanced and speciality scuba courses.

Leisurely exploration of Alphonse is positively encouraged, either on foot or by bicycle. The Azure Spa is the perfect place to relax and revive weary bodies with a range of treatments and therapies.

As part of your stay on Alphonse Seychelles, a number of complimentary guest experiences are included: Alphonse cycle tour; Island Conservation Society (ICS) walk; reef flats expedition; flats lunch; and sundowners on the beach. There's also a comprehensive choice of private excursions & experiences which can be booked and form an essential part of a holiday here. These include: sunset lagoon cruise, Bijoutier Island visit, St Francois nature trek, various signature snorkelling experiences, guided Alphonse fly fishing, plus many fishing excursions and scuba diving packages.
