Stunning and remote, De Hoop Nature Reserve in the Western Cape is a sprawling reserve, home to a vast array of wildlife, a diversity of landscapes and a wide variety of accommodation options from self-catering cottages to luxury suites - many of which boast distinctive Cape Dutch style.
Activities at the reserve include quad biking, stargazing, mountain biking and a number of walking trails, including those for bird and whale watching. There's an onsite restaurant and a spa too.
