Belvidere Manor Hotel
Found in Knysna on South Africa's beautiful Garden Route, Belvidere Manor is surrounded by sandy beaches and thick forests. Guests should expect intimate accommodation, with only 28 cottages on offer. The cottages range in size with 1, 2 and 3 bedroom properties available, which are either single or double storey.
The bedrooms in all of the cottages are well-appointed and very comfortable, boasting en-suite bathrooms. Guests will also find a kitchen, overhead fans, WiFi for those wishing to stay connected and a cosy fireplace and lounge for cooler evenings. All of the cottages possess a veranda and deliver excellent views, either of the hotel's well-manicured gardens or the Knysna Lagoon.
The hotel delivers a charming restaurant with a delicious menu of varied cuisine and the hotel is home to Knysna's smallest pub, with an excellent wine cellar, glimpsed through a window in the floor. The pub is a favourite with locals and guests can enjoy tasty home cooked pub meals. If guests wish to relax the quiet tranquillity of the lodge gardens and swimming pool is very much a viable option.
