Waterbuck Lodge is uniquely positioned adjacent to a water estuary in the private Thornybush Nature Reserve (bordering the Kruger National Park), and provides extraordinary wildlife diversity and abundant birdlife all within the confines of a closely located watering hole.
Waterbuck Lodge offers 4 suites each offering a generous sized bedroom, ensuite bathroom, air conditioning and a private game viewing deck offering magnificent views. All the suites are accessed through pathways a few yards from each other providing both privacy and security. The main lodge offers a dining and bar area as well as a swimming pool. A deck area also provides a comfortable watch point to the wildlife who frequent the water hole adjacent to the lodge.

Adventure Holiday to Waterbuck Lodge
This was probably my favourite property. I really enjoyed the game drives, the food, and the staff. I loved the luxuriousness of the lodge, but we were left alone most of the time. I loved the concept of open bar and we could grab bottles of wine to take to the pool and our room.
This lodge is beautiful! So comfortable. Ofelia is a most gracious hostess, meeting us with a cool lemonade and a thorough tutorial of how the meals and game drives worked. The food was absolutely delicious! Roux and Sollie were awesome for our safari rides!
Beautiful, clean and well appointed. Every member of the staff was incredible and truly cared about our comfort and having our needs met, in particular our dining restrictions. The food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. The game drives were amazing.
