Thonga Beach Lodge is a perfect luxury beach retreat. Based in the Greater St Lucia Wetlands area, a World Heritage site, the Lodge offers 50km of untouched coastline offering amazing opportunities for snorkeling and off-shore scuba diving. The lodge features a spa, dining area and lounge as well as two swimming pools.
There are 12 thatched, eco-sensitive rooms, with ocean or forest views, which all blend into the coastal forest canopy. All rooms are open-plan with a private bathroom and balcony. The honeymoon suite has a private pool.

It was really great. Some of the rooms could do with a bit of a refurb and for lunch, perhaps having a small a la carte menu would be great but these are personal preferences and we couldn't fault the service and staff.
