Umzolozolo Private Safari Lodge
Found in a Malaria free area in KwaZulu Natal, Umzolozolo Private Safari Lodge is a small and intimate property with strong guiding from rangers on game drives. Guests can enjoy Big 5 game viewing and the beautiful scenery on the Nambiti Game Reserve. For those wishing to discover even more adventure the lodge is only a 40 minute drive from the stunning Drakensburg Mountains, the highest range in Southern Africa and a must for avid hikers and anyone that enjoys a good view.
There are 5 room options, all of which boast wonderful sweeping views of the bushveld below. Guests can choose from 3 chalets, one of which is tailored to families, a honeymoon suite and a presidential suite. Rooms hold a TV, with satellite channels, great for those wishing to stay in-touch with the outside world and charming en-suite bathrooms, which feature an outdoor shower. Air-conditioning is provided to keep rooms temperate, while for those staying in the presidential suite an outdoor Jacuzzi with panoramic views is on offer, for both staying cool from the midday sun and indulgent relaxation.
The lodge holds a number of facilities, including a spa area with a range of massage treatments. Excellent cuisine is standard at Umzolozolo, with 4 meals a day, with delicious buffet meals, savory snacks and scrumptious breakfasts. Guests can relax on the viewing deck or in the rim flow pool and enjoy casual game viewing as wildlife pass by.
