The flagship property of the magnificent Tswalu Kalahari, the Motse looks out over the grasslands of the Kalahari with the Korannaberg Mountains providing a suitably dramatic backdrop. The main hub of this accommodation provides sweeping views from the infinity pool and elevated decks, while the lounges and library provide some quiet time - the latter sports a museum section that displays a number of historic artefacts from the Kalahari area.
Stay in one of 9 stone and thatch suites, known colloquially as legaes. Of the 9 legaes, 6 are standard while 3 are dedicated to families and capable of accommodating up to 4 people. A far cry from simple stone and thatch accommodation, the suites have been carefully designed to exude the necessary elegance and charm to make your stay at Tswalu a special one. Expect contemporary furnishings melded seamlessly together with exciting safari chic. All suites possess broadband WiFi access, an open fireplace (a welcome addition in winter months) and both indoor and outdoor showers. There's also a private sun deck on which to relax, they overlook a waterhole so enjoying some casual game viewing is a must.
