Kiba Point Selous
Specifically designed for those wishing to enjoy an entirely private safari experience, the luxury of Kiba Point is found not just in the stylish rusticity of its 4 cottages but also in the complete aloneness experienced during a stay here. Designed with privacy in mind, the camp is ideal for small families or couples who wish to have the vast Selous all to themselves. With a daily schedule determined by guests' wants, a day at Kiba can be as action packed or relaxed as desired. The camp's setting is equally as appealing; found in one of the reserve's prime game viewing areas and holding impeccable views of the Rufiji River.
Guests can enjoy these views from the comfort of their rooms, which are unique in design and extremely comfortable. With the cottages open fronted, guests quickly find themselves acquainted with the sights and sounds of the surrounding wilderness. Comprised of stone and thatch, the accommodation is spacious, simple and authentically African. Modern touches, such as plunge pools and en-suite bathroomsannunciate the rooms' small touches of luxury in the wilderness.
Each bathroom features flush toilets, showers and hot/ cold running water. The rooms' open front can be zipped up at night and cottages are split between two doubles and two double/twin rooms.
