Hamerkop House is a beautiful private house managed exclusively by Lemala Camps and Lodges. It is located on a wildlife and golf estate, Kiligolf, situated halfway between Kilimanjaro International Airport and Arusha, and offers a great place to start or finish your safari.
Each of the 3 bedrooms is en suite with a private verandah and lounge. The house can be taken on a private exclusive use basis or shared and can be booked on a bed and breakfast, half board, full board or all-inclusive basis. As a guest of the house you will have access to Tanzania's only championship golf course and can enjoy a relaxing and incredibly scenic round under the shadow of both Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro. There is plenty to do in the area, ranging from early morning horse rides to tours of a fragrant coffee plantation in Arusha and hiking and canoeing around Kilimanjaro and Lake Duluti.

Very welcoming! Out of this world amazing meals! It was wonderful to have such a wonderful suite and staff. We were able to recover from our flight (24 hours of flying time) and we’re ready to start our Safari the next morning.
Hamerkop House was a great stay! Wonderful food, very friendly staff, and the house is very welcoming. Since it is located on the Kilimanjaro Golf Course we decided to play a round to while we were there! Great first day and a nice place relax after a very long flight.
