Discover Wildwaters Lodge

Experience the longest river in the world in a unique way, staying on a private island mid-stream of the Nile. Situated in the Wildwaters Reserve, Wildwaters Lodge is found on just one of the islands that form the reserve, which offers plenty of wildlife and action-packed experiences. A diversity of birdlife calls the area home while there's also the chance to spot giant monitor lizards and river otters. White water rafting, for which the reserve is well known, is the main activity and an exhilarating way to enjoy the river's mighty waters.

There are 10 canvas and thatch rooms, uniquely decorated with handmade furniture. Set amidst the island's tropical greenery look out from each room's private deck for captivating views of the Nile. The decks have their own free-standing outdoor baths and day beds. After a busy day tackling the river or exploring the area, retiring to the sound of the rapids roaring in the background is an enviable escape. The main lodge, bar and restaurant are connected to the rooms by exciting wooden walkways, with the main lodge set on a superb rock peninsula. Unwind in the natural swimming pool or watch the sunset with a drink at the bar.
