KuKaya Lodge is situated just 2.5 km from the main gate of Zambia’s famous South Luangwa National Park. The lodge is set in pristine bush and overlooks permanent water holes. With 5 of the 6 rooms featuring 2 bedrooms, as well as additional sleeping space, the camp is particularly suited to families or friends travelling together. A stay here is all about freedom, from choosing your safari activities to flexible dining options. You can embark on game drives and walking safaris, shared or private, visit the wildlife viewing hide or simply choose to relax by your private pool, drink in hand, and watch the wildlife go by.

The lodge offers 6 very spacious tented chalets, 5 of which come with 2 bedrooms and 2 outdoor ensuite bathrooms. In each villa, there’s an internal lounge with additional sleeping space, a comfortable dining area, kitchen, and a deck with an alfresco dining area. There’s also a private plunge pool, firepit, pizza oven and barbeque area to make the most of the alfresco safari lifestyle. KuKaya offers a unique dining experience. Meals (purchased from the Deli) can be cooked and served by your personal host, or by yourself.
