Mfuwe Lodge
Mfuwe Lodge in the South Luangwa National Park is spread out beneath a canopy of ebony and mahogany trees. Its thatched buildings are arranged around the banks of two lagoons where an endless stream of wildlife will keep you enthralled as you lounge on the open deck or take a dip in the swimming pool. In November the local elephants regularly wander right through the lobby, lured by a nearby wild mango tree.
The lodge offers guests 18 chalets comprised of 2 suites, 3 family rooms, 3 doubles and 10 twin rooms. Each chalet is equipped with a private deck, en-suite shower, international power sockets, hair dryers, personal safe, mosquito nets and fans. There is also a Director's House, complete with 2 en-suite bedrooms and a private guide and vehicle. The open-plan central area incorporates reception, lounge, dining and bar areas. There is a broad timber deck where the swimming pool is located which overlooks the main lagoon. Other facilities include a library, Bush Spa and a curio shop. The lodge also features a new photographic studio with workshop facilities for the avid photographer.

holiday to Mfuwe Lodge
Amazing place, especially as we appreciated the "unconventional" food, in the sense that it was often not "à la carte" but rather self-made (like pizza, Mongolian). It was great also for the kids (fast and fun).
