Mpala Jena provides the perfect combination of luxury and wilderness, set within a private concession in the Zambezi National Park. With a name meaning 'white impala', the camp promises an abundance of wildlife and armchair game viewing with common sightings of African elephant, lion, Cape buffalo and hyena.
Exclusive and environmentally innovative, the tented camp sits on the white sandy edges of the Zambezi River epitomising 'barefoot luxury', and offers just five suites, designed with recycled canvas and hardwoods and powered with solar power. All of the Moroccan-influenced open tents offer views over the river, a shaded veranda complete with private plunge pool to cool off after a day of game drives, and a beautiful bathtub and outdoor shower.

Adventure Holiday to Mpala Jena
Best accommodation during our trip. Victoria Falls was magnificent, but there weren't as many animals during our game drives in comparison to Botswana. The sunset by boat is amazing!
Superb - more like a luxury escape. Resort was wonderful, and the people were amazing. The boat trips on the Zambezi were spectacular as was the trip to Victoria Falls.
