Our Comments and Suggestions on choosing a Room Type:
All of the rooms on offer at the Dina Robin are very large and luxuriously appointed. Don’t be confused by the ‘Club’ element before the room type. This is basically a suite-only hotel offering junior and senior suites. The rooms become ‘club’ if you opt for the club dining package. All Junior Suites are the same, it is only their location which differs. You obviously pay more to be that much closer to the beach. The same with the Senior Suites. The difference between the Junior and Senior Suite is size. If you can’t stretch to a Senior Suite, the Junior Suite is more than adequate in size. This is a five star superior hotel and the rooms do not disappoint.
The Junior Suites are 65m². They are located on either the ground, first or second floor and are all sea facing. They can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child.
The Club Junior Suite (Beachfront) is the same as the club junior suite but enjoys a gorgeous location right on the beach.
The Club Senior Suite (Beachfront) is 115m² and on the ground and first floor. These rooms are only the most spacious but are also the closest to the beach. They can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child.
The Family Suite consists of two inter-leading Junior Suites. These rooms are always on the ground floor and sea facing. They are 130m² and can accommodate 2 adults and 3 children.
The Club Family Suite (Beach Front) is larger than the family suite at 180m². Special features include a DVD player, Nespresso machine and beachfront access. This room is the top room category on offer for families residing at Dinarobin. It can hold 2 adults and 3 children.

Our Comments and Suggestions on Dining at the Dinarobin Hotel:
Our Staff have eaten in the Italian Restaurant as well at L’Harmonie, the main restaurant and Le Morne Plage, the beach restaurant. All restaurants offer top quality food and service. The Italian Restaurant in particular is a lovely warm and comfortable place to enjoy an alternative meal.

Dinarobin offers 4 restaurants and 3 bars.
The main restaurant is called L’Harmonie and it overlooks the sea and the swimming pool. The restaurant serves international cuisine. It is serves buffet breakfasts and dinners and lunch and snacks a la carte on the terrace.
Saveurs des Iles offers French gastronomy and Mauritian flavours and is open for dinner on reservation. You can choose from the half board menu or a la carte (with a supplement on the half board credit). The restaurant is reserved for guests from 12 years.
There is also a wonderful Italian restaurant available for dinner.
The beach restaurant and bar is called Le Morne Plage and this restaurant serves fresh sea food.
The bars comprise of a rustic beach bar called Le Cabanon, Le Mahogany Bar & Terrace which is a cosy and charming bar overlooking the beach and Le Martello which is The Club at Dinarobin.
Entertainment comprises of a local band playing every night and theme evenings.
Note: The restaurants and bars of the Paradis Hotel & Golf Club are also open to the guests of the Dinarobin (on reservation).
Spa & Treatments
Set at the foot of Le Morne mountain within lush tropical gardens, Dinarobin’s Spa invites you to a world of beauty and well-being affiliated to the prestigious Clarins brand. Dinarobin is a great resort for families. All rooms can accommodate children and the Family Suite and Club Family Suite can accommodate larger families all under one roof. There are also inter-leading rooms on offer. The resort is large enough that the loud noises of children playing will not carry over and distract honeymooners and the like. The Kid’s Club will have your children entertained for as long as you like and babysitting services mean that you can catch up on some much needed time on your own.

Kids Club
Like all Beachcomber hotels, the Dinarobin offers a free mini-club providing a range of activities that will appeal to your children.

This course has some the best greens on the island. It is a very flat course with no hills and is therefore very walkable. On the 16th and 17th hole you are able to catch a glimpse of the whole bay and indeed the entire course is set in stunning scenery with a mountain backdrop. A few people have been put off by the state of the fairways, however, on the whole it offers a great day out.
Golf
Located on the Morne Peninsula in the South of Mauritius, Beachcomber resorts Paradis Hotel & Golf Club and Dinarobin Hotel Golf & Spa share a magnificent 18-hole international golf course considered one of the best in Mauritius.
The course was originally created by course designer David Dutton with enhancements by Golf Pro Tony Johnstone. The course is an 18-hole Par 72 championship golf course and the only 18-hole golf course in Mauritius to be built within a resort’s grounds, located only 20 metres from Reception. The course offers five different tees and a fantastic layout along the beautiful Le Morne Peninsula. Facilities include:

The Dinarobin is set on arguably the prettiest stretch of the island. With the spectacular mountain backdrop and long beach, the Dinarobin is as like the idyllic photos as you can get. Being a 5 star superior hotel you can expect top class service and excellent dining. The large and luxurious rooms are a special treat for anyone celebrating a special occasion.
Honeymoons
For most of 2010 Dinarobin is offering a 10% discount to Honeymooners as well as honeymoon gifts including a small bottle of champagne and fruits on arrival and a gift of a bag and a t-shirt. A 30 minute massage is offered to both the bride and groom and lunches are also offered complimentary during the whole of the stay.
Anniversaries
For most of 2010 Dinarobin is offering a 10% discount to those celebrating an anniversary. A copy of the Wedding Certificate will be required on check-in for validation.
Applies to every 5th years Wedding Anniversary which must be within 3 months of the arrival date at the hotel.
All Inclusive
The Club at Dinarobin is a private club based on the worldwide concept of offering top clients Executive Floors and VIP lounges. The Club offers a range of exclusive services including a private lounge called Le Martello, in a typically British colonial atmosphere. The Club is the private domain of the occupants of all the Club Suites, which are the closest to the beach and equipped with Ipod-docks and espresso machines.

Customer Reviews of the Dinarobin
We had an excellent stay at this hotel however it was not as nice as the Le Prince Maurice and we had a little trouble with our room to begin with as it had a smell of damp. No alternative rooms were available so the friendly staff deep cleaned the room and although not 100% it was a vast improvement. The club was great and we went for drinks before dinner most evenings. The French restaurant at the Dinarobin had the best food in the entire complex and we dined there a couple of times.
