Location
Kwandwe is a 2-hour drive from Port Elizabeth Airport (chauffeur service available). Kwandwe is also perfect for selfdrive guests due to excellent roads. Kwandwe is easily accessible by private charters into Kwandwe airstrip.
Meal Basis
Fully inclusive accommodation including all meals, selected beverages, game drives and interpretive bush walks.
Child Policy
Regretfully it is not safe for children under 12 years to stay at Great Fish River Lodge.
Rooms
9 luxurious suites feature bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers, separate w.c, twin basins, personal bars and covered verandas. The décor is African-inspired, with earth-toned fabrics, indigenous timber and early settler antiques and artefacts. Each suite has a private veranda and plunge pool.
Guest Areas
Guest areas are spacious, with generous, wraparound viewing decks leading from the dining room, bar and sitting areas. The sitting, library and dining areas each have a fireplace. The wine cellar has a selection of premier South African wines. Pan African cuisine can be served on your private deck, enjoyed under a canopy of stars in the firelit boma, and in the gracious dining room. A well-stocked Safari Shop offers clothing, books, gifts and African crafts.
Activities
Twice daily game drives and interpretive bush walks are included activities.
