Lower Zambezi National Park
Lower Zambezi National Park is downstream of the mighty Victoria Falls and follows the Zambezi River as it flows towards Mozambique (marking the border with Zambia), and eventually the ocean. The park is a wondrous place to view high concentrations of animals in the dry season as they migrate to the permanent waters of the Zambezi River. A real highlight of any trip to this park is the opportunity of taking a canoe out onto the water to view antelope, buffalo and elephant herds on the bank. While game tracking you can often see leopard, lion, wild dogs and hyenas. Bird watchers will be ecstatic with the vast array of colourful birds that reside here.
