Bordering the Okavango Delta and just southeast of the Linyanti Marshes, the Savuti (also spelled Savute) region is one of the most iconic places for lions and hyenas to battle it out. Connected to the Linyanti by the Savuti Channel, the waterway dried up for almost 30 years, before starting to flow again in 2008.
