This family safari takes in 3 very diverse regions of Botswana, the Okavango Delta, the Linyanti region and the Central Kalahari. Not only will the whole family be able to witness the abundant wildlife of the area on day and night game drives, mokoro safaris (dug-out canoes) and boat trips, but for the kids, entertaining activities are led by dedicated staff encouraging children to learn about and fall in love with wildlife and nature.
Both Tubu Tree in the Okavango Delta and Savuti Camp in the Linyanti offer the quintessential Big Game safari experience. Expect huge herds of elephants and buffalo and fabulous predator sightings. Tau Pan Camp, in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, offers something a little different. Aside from its wildlife attractions including the legendary Kalahari black-maned lion as well as some of the world's best cheetah viewing, the camp also offers fascinating cultural experiences which allow for an authentic insight into the ancient Bushman clans of the area. We recommend that your family spend a night on the sleep-out deck under the starry skies of the Kalahari. Be lulled to sleep by the sounds of Africa.
