This epic adventure is just over a fortnight road tripping the most awe-inspiring of Namibia's landmarks from the red dunes of the Sossusvlei in the south to the animal-filled waterholes of Etosha in Namibia's north. There will be long drives, but the dramatic scenery will make it all worth it and, every stop along the way will offer a luxurious sanctuary in which to shake off the dust. It’s a trip where desert, mountain and bushveld ecosystems combine and provide for fabulous photo opportunities. You will encounter intriguing desert-adapted flora and fauna, including the Big 5 in Etosha, desert-adapted elephant and critically endangered black rhino in Damaraland, and the bizarre welwitschia plant.
As well as this, there’s the chance to see ancient Bushmen rock paintings as well as a Petrified Forest, millions of years old. Activities range from dune picnics, hot air ballooning, sand boarding and rhino trekking to hiking, star gazing and horse riding.
