Most Memorable Trip

During my time at Phinda Vlei Lodge, I had the incredible opportunity to witness Black rhinos and elephants up close while exploring on foot. Being in the presence of these majestic creatures left me in awe and deepened my appreciation for the wonders of wildlife. Another unforgettable experience was during my four-day dive trip up the KwaZulu-Natal coast, where I had the privilege of witnessing a leatherback turtle laying her eggs.

Top Of My Bucket-List

I've been in the hospitality industry for a long time, and Tanzania is calling out to me as the ultimate bush-beach experience that I absolutely need to have. It's the perfect chance for me to check off three items from my bucket list: climbing Kilimanjaro, diving at Mnemba Island, and witnessing the incredible Great Wildebeest Migration. Tanzania has it all, and I can't wait to make these dreams a reality.

"Hyenas have a bad reputation, thanks to "The Lion King", however, they are an important part of the ecosystem and are truly fascinating to watch."

"I love to sample local beers, so that has to be high up on my list. If I am on a game drive, I will always ask for the ingredients for a Negroni to be smuggled into the cooler box."

Top Travel Tip

Wet wipes! Always have a stash in your carry-on luggage. After many hours on an airplane or in an airport, the refreshing feeling that a wet wipe can give is undeniably the best travel tip I have.

The Best Part Of My Job

Creating memories that last a lifetime and building relationships. I love staying connected and witnessing families grow, from their honeymoon trip to their children's first safari experience, and even celebrating their graduation trips. It's a privilege to be a part of these special moments and see the bonds strengthen over time.
