It is just a short walk from the luxury, en-suite tents to the river bank and viewing platforms extend from the front of each tent to offer magnificent views of the gorge. The bathrooms are spacious and well equipped and the perfect place to relax at the end of an adventurous day. Visitors relaxing on the veranda enjoy a panoramic view of the gorge, cliffs and surrounding area.

To complete your full local experience, the Khowarib Lodge has a lapa, an immense thatched structure constructed from local materials in traditional style. A large kopje creates an impressive back drop to the reception, bar, lounge, dining area and curio shop.

Khowarib Lodge prides itself on the service provided by the local Damaran people. The guiding staff have many years experience in the area and top notch knowledge of the local environment and wildlife.
