Namushasha Lodge is perfectly located for day trips and safaris into Bwabwata Park as well as for boat trips along the Kwando River. Situated on the banks of an oxbow lake, the lodge is high enough to view the water through a thick canopy of dense Jackalberry and Mangosteen trees. Namushasha is bounded on all sides by wild game parks with frequent sightings of elephants, hippos, lion, red lechwe, sable antelope, tsessebe and a myriad of bird species.
The 27 luxury bungalows at Namushasha River Lodge are en-suite and set beautifully along the water's edge. Each unit has a private balcony which peeks through the trees. Meals are mainly buffet and are served in the restaurant. The lodge also offers a small pool, ideal for a dip after a long drive or day's activities. The lodge's highlight is the 'Sundowner Deck' which overlooks a hippo pool, the game-spattered floodplains and the bird-filled riverine forest.
