On the beautiful, mountainous island of Silhouette, Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa sits between lush, rainforest-clad slopes and a long white sand beach. It is the only hotel on the island, the third largest in Seychelles and just 19 miles from Mahé, or 40 minutes by boat. 90 percent of the island is under protection of the Seychelles government to preserve its outstanding natural beauty.
Hilton Labriz offers a choice of 111 spacious villas scattered throughout the hotel gardens - either in a garden or beach setting, some with plunge pools. Beachfront Villas have a lovely position, while Deluxe Pool Villas and Sanctuary Pool Villas are particularly popular; as well as a private pool, they also have a separate living room, luxurious bathroom and a private dining pavilion. Complimentary Wifi internet access is available throughout the resort.
There are no less than 6 restaurants at Hilton Seychelles Labriz, two of which offer all day dining options. There is also a great pizzeria offering lighter options for lunch. For evening dining, in addition to the main restaurant, the excellent choice includes Italian at 'Portebello', Asian and European at 'Teppanyaki' and 'Sakura', and Creole cuisine at the 'Grann Kaz' Plantation House restaurant, once the home of the Dauban family, the former owners of the island. Guests staying on Half Board at Hilton Labriz may dine around at all the hotel's restaurants, excluding Teppanyaki.
There is a plentiful array of activities for guests of all ages who are staying at the resort. The breathtaking spa at Hilton Labriz has a truly natural setting with treatment rooms set amidst giant granite boulders and the dense rainforest. For the more active, there is snorkelling and kayaks, as well as a 5* PADI dive centre, while hiking trails can be taken through the rainforest. Families are not forgotten either with a 'Jungle Fun' Kids club (4-12 years) offering a programme of daily activities, as well as having use of the large swimming pool and tennis court.
Diving can be arranged as there are over 20 dive sites around Silhouette island with the best conditions occurring in the calmer months of April/May and October/November. Fishing can also be arranged. Now a National Park, Silhouette Island is a nature lover's delight with an abundance of indigenous fauna and flora as well as giant tortoises and is encircled by a coral reef, with much of it designated a Marine National Park.
