A lovely colonial property characterised by a homely air, Reilly's Rock Hilltop Lodge is set in the stunning Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary. Surrounded by verdant botanical gardens, guests at Reilly's can expect excellent views and a diversity of flora and fauna to discover. The area is alive with birdlife and there is the chance to see a number of antelope species, including roan, suni and orib. Plant life is equally as engaging with rare aloe and cycad on offer.
Guests will find rooms nicely presented and comfortable, exuding the colonial charm found throughout the property. Accommodation includes 2 standard en-suite rooms, 2 luxury en-suite rooms, a garden cottage and a self-catering cottage set 200m from the main house. The main house is the communal hub of the lodge and offers a sizeable lounge with a fireplace – ideal for cooler winter evenings. Guests can also expect a dining room with terrace, for a tasty meal and a captivating view.
From the property there's the chance to simply unwind on the terraced lawns or to enjoy slightly more adventurous excursions. Take on the hillside trails nearby to spot some wildlife or explore on horseback. Guests can also indulge in mountain biking, bird watching and 4x4 safaris.
