Baraza Resort & Spa offers 30 beautiful villas each with spacious, welcoming interiors and generous plunge pools. Choices of villas include a one bedroom villa or one bedroom ocean front villa, and the two bedroom sultan or garden view villas. There is also one presidential villa.

Upon arriving, we were actually disappointed by the photos we'd seen online as they don't do this property justice... the Arabic/Swahili influenced property is heaven on earth. It's incredible. What a place to spend a week post-safari! Given all the amazing hotels from our trip, Baraza was just okay. It was hard to get excited about the beach at Baraza after coming from Mnemba. The lunch and breakfast buffets were good but the dinners were not. The staff here were mostly friendly but it just lacked the same level of hospitality we got accustomed to.
