Baraza is beautiful. The property itself is well maintained. It has that Omani/Arabic influence in the design. The hotel is surrounded with Bougainvilleas and frangapani. It' a 5 star service as well. The only thing that I didn't get a chance to enjoy was the beach. It's tidal and it has a lot of sea urchins. Absolutely no point staying there as in the whole Zanzibar. We were shocked by the quality and attitude, style and everything else at first, but then we went to see Zanzibar and understood that the hotel is the best property indeed. Just can't imagine who loves going there (stone town is very nice though).
