andBeyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is perched on the edge of the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. It lies within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which covers more than 8 000 square km of pristine African wilderness. The Crater is home to an estimated 25 000 large mammals including wildebeest, rare black rhino, lion and giant tusked elephant.
Offering unbeatable views Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is consistently recognised as one if the world's most luxurious and elegant places to stay.The lodge consists of 3 adjacent camps with 30 Maasai-inspired suites perched on stilts on the rim of the Crater. Each camp has its own guest sitting and dining areas, as well as viewing decks. Each suite is adorned with graceful antiques, grand chandeliers and elegant African treasures. The bedroom, sitting room and ensuite bathroom boast floor-to-ceiling glass windows overlooking the magnificent Crater below. Personal butlers are on hand to cater for each guest's every need.
The lodge is located approximately 170 km from Arusha, approximately 4 hour's drive and 40 minutes by air, with another 45 minutes transfer from the airstrip to the lodge.
