Singita Faru Faru Lodge

Located in the private Grumeti Reserve in the Serengeti and close to the Grumeti River, Singita Faru Faru Lodge is a destination in itself, a truly luxurious safari. The most exclusive Serengeti experience on the market this lodge has charming views over the nearby watering hole and the grassy hills of the reserve. The property is great for getting guests back in touch with nature, with game viewing possible from camp, all the while providing comfortable accommodation to relax in.

Singita Faru Faru is a mix of rustic luxury, taking inspiration from an old world botanist's camp, and contemporary styling, a choice of decor that pervades the lodge's accommodation. Guests can choose from 7 one bedroomed suites, a family suite, naturally ideal for those with children, and the 2 bedroom villa suite, which boasts its own infinity pool. The rooms provide excellent views of the bush, with one wall made almost entirely of glass, allowing guests to look out upon the bushveld, a deck with a Swarovski spotting scope is also on offer.

Wildlife viewing in the area is in bloom from June to August time, with the many animals of the great migration making use of the nearby waterhole and filling the surrounding area. Excellent game viewing aside, the lodge offers a range of facilities, including two swimming pools, a spa and gym, WiFi (which is slow due to the lodge's remote location) and delicious cuisine.

Incredible service with my waiter placing my table with different views to add to my enjoyment of game viewing from the lodge. Decor in room was not to my liking--there was not a comfortable chair to sit in! Also, I did not appreciate being on game drive with couple with two teenagers who would not shut up!!
