From Singita Sabora Tented Camp discover the magic of the Grumeti Reserves 350,000 acres of untouched wilderness. Rich in game and waiting to be explored, guests can experience the diverse Grumeti wildlife through exciting game drives and walking safaris. Night game drives are also on offer and provide a unique insight into the life of some of Africa's most famous inhabitants after dark. There's no better way to take in the Serengeti plains than from horseback so a visit to the Equestrian Centre at Singita Sasakwa Lodge, the camp's sister property, is a must.
Styled after a 1920's-esqe explorer's camp, the tented accommodation and nostalgic furnishings seamlessly conjure a sense of old world safaris, quietly juxtaposed by modern amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. There are only 9 spacious tents, all of which possess one bedroom, a hairdryer and en-suite bathrooms. Beds are large and comfy and tent interiors are traditionally furnished.
The main camp area features a number of facilities, including a gym for keep fit fanatics and a spa to relax in after a hard day spent exploring. Contact with the outside world is possible through the TV in the lounge and complimentary WiFi access, however, due to the camp's remote location the connection can be slow. Guests can also enjoy a few lengths in the camp pool and the Singita Boutique & Gallery.
A 2 hour flight from Arusha and a 2 hour 15 minute flight from Kilimanjaro followed by a 45 minute transfer from Singita airstrip to the camp.
Game drives, night drives, walking safaris and horse riding.
