Very unique, Musango Safari Camp is found offshore of the Matusadona National Park on its very own island. The camp is an exclusive, 16 bed, owner run property and only a short flight away from Victoria Falls or Kariba. The surrounding area offers an abundance of wildlife for guests to discover, from buffalo and elephant to the rare black rhino.
A number of activities can be found on offer at and around the camp, from walking safaris and game drives to tiger fishing on Lake Kariba. Guests can enjoy the tranquillity of canoeing in and around the Musango creek, surrounded by herds of elephant, buffalo and waterbuck and with splendid mountain views. Walking safaris allow guests to get closer to the wilderness, while game drives carry the promise of Big 5 game viewing. Guiding at Musango is excellent, with guides trained to a very high standard.
Accommodation at the camp is tucked away amidst thick forest, facing eastwards so guests can watch the sunrise; perfect for honeymooners and couples. The camp boasts 2 honeymoon chalets, built of natural stone. Both chalets feature the additional luxuries of private plunge pools and a patio area. There are also 6 twin bed tents. The en-suite bathrooms of all accommodation options are made of stone with a traditional feel.
