The lodge sits at a point on the Zambezi where there were safe times to cross without a boat. An area of rich history, the Old Drift was used as a crossing point over the Zambezi between modern day Zimbabwe and Zambia; hence where the lodge got its name. The main lodge offers 360 degree views, the Zambezi River to one side and a waterhole to the other for prime game viewing. Take the boat ride to the lodge and enter a natural retreat only a short drive from Victoria Falls town.

The lodge offers 14 luxury tented suited, complete with an en-suite bathroom with both indoor and outdoor showers. An outdoor bath allows guests to relax and enjoy the peace of the national park, or enjoy the private plunge pool on a warm Zimbabwean day. The main area of the lodge provides amazing star-gazing opportunities as well as Zambezi river views.
