Our Comments and Suggestions on choosing a Room Type:
Our most popular room type is the deluxe room, particularly for honeymooners as they are situated on the top floor with no other room beside them. They are more private and the hot tub is often the clincher. The decor is similar in all rooms and usually the difference is the size of the room and the location. In general we felt that the rooms were quite a bit smaller than other hotel rooms we saw on the island, however, the ambiance of the hotel and its incredible beach makes up for this.
The Superior Rooms are 45 m². There are 32 on the ground floor & 32 on the first floor. All rooms have a nicely furnished terrace or balcony facing the sea.
The Deluxe Rooms are 46 m². All are situated at upper level and offer from the balcony a marvellous view of the beach and the sunset. 1 independent stairway gives direct access to the garden and guarantees total privacy and the rooms also include a hot tub.
The Junior Suites are 52 m². There is a room block dedicated to the 10 Junior Suites (6 ground floor, 4 upstairs) which can accommodate individually two adults and one child. The mini bar concealed within a rosewood cabinet, the linen pillows, iPod sound docks, bamboo trimmings work together to create a look of authentic elegance which has become the signature style of LUX* Le Morne.
The Ocean Junior Suites are 57 m² and all on the ground floor. The Junior Ocean Suites are the closest to the water edge and feature a patio with daybed armchairs as well as double sunloungers. A special feature is the louvered blinds bay between the bathroom and the bedroom which allows guests to enjoy a view on the beach and the lagoon from their bath.
The Junior Prestige Suites are 63 m² and are all on the ground floor. A special feature only offered in this room type is the outdoor shower. The higher price is largely down to it being the largest room. In our opinion, it wouldn’t be worth the money if you were watching the pennies.

Restaurants & Bars
LUX* Le Morne offers 4 restaurants and 2 bars.
The Horizon Restaurant is the main restaurant open for buffet breakfast and dinners. It serves international cuisine and also offers thematic evenings, some a la carte dinners and other events.
Obergine is the beach restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine for lunch and dinner.
Nipa is a 40 seat Thai restaurant open for dinner with a stunning view over the lagoon.
Underneath the shadow of a large veranda near to the beach, the Nautile allows for moment of relaxation around a Mauritian meal or just a snack. At night, The Nautile transforms into cocktail bar where music is offered most nights.
The Ilot & Oasis bars, open 11a.m to 6p.m serve fresh fruit juice, refreshing cocktails and pastries.
Other Services
Beach Service - Light fruit treats, refreshing cocktails and drinks are served right under your beach parasol throughout the day.
Room Service - Around-the-clock room service is available 7 days a week.
Private Dining - LUX* Le Morne offers an array of dining alternatives from romantic celebration for couples to private dinner parties for families and friends.
Evening Entertainment - A variety of soft jazz, piano bar and dancing entertainment is available throughout the week. Shows are held twice a week.
On a Half Board meal basis breakfast and dinner are eaten at the main Horizon Restaurant. If you want to eat dinner at another restaurant you are provided with a credit and the menus should indicate any supplements required.
Spa & Treatments
In a refined ambience, the 2,400 m² wide Nymphéa Spa offers whirlpool, hamman, sauna and infinity pool facilities, along with the following treatment rooms:

Fitness Centre
The fitness room is equipped with high quality, modern equipment, for the guests who are keen to keep in shape. Body-building, stretching, progressive and adapted exercises to keep fit, while respecting the expectations and needs of each and everyone.
We wouldn’t say that LUX* Le Morne is the first choice for family holidays on the island but it certainly welcomes children. Other resorts definitely have better room facilities for children and perhaps offer better price deals. The rooms at LUX* Le Morne are not large but for one or two children the rooms will suffice if you have fallen in love with the location of LUX* Le Morne (which is usually the drawcard). The Kids Club is beautifully done up and both young children and teens will never be bored with the number of activities there are on offer.
Families
During the months of April and September the hotel offers a free place to 1 child of teen (on Half Board).
In addition to this offer in the winter months there is also an offer of Pay 7 nights and get 2 free nights (on Half Board) for children or teens.
The Kid’s Club
The "Twinkle" Kids Club is created for children aged between 3 to 12 years old and is open from 9 a.m to 10.00 p.m. A specially trained and qualified team looks after the children and ensures that they have fun and an enriching experience. Children can have dinner at the Kids club from 6.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. Babysitting services are available on request for a fee.
Teenagers
The Teens Club, meeting point of adolescents, is open from 9.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. and arranges various activities for teenagers, including excursions outside the hotel. Early evening Djembe, Disco and Mauritian dancing lessons are dispensed by the hotel entertainers. The club operates during the school holidays period.

Swimming Pools
The hotel boasts 4 superb child-friendly swimming pools. The main pool is located in the centre of the resort, with two further pools, located to the North and South sides respectively, ensuring you are never too far from a poolside. The North side pool meanders through the gardens, whilst the South side infinity pool seems to merge into the ocean below. The fourth pool is located in the Spa.

Naïade lays much emphasis on the respect and preservation of this exceptional site and values up this proximity with nature. Golf
Les Pavillons is offers picture perfect scenes for a romantic holiday. Not only is the beach absolutely gorgeous but the mountain backdrop and lush gardens add to the feeling of this being a very exotic destination. One of the major selling points of this hotel is that being situated on the West Coast of the island it has the most incredible sunsets. At 149 rooms this is also one of the smaller hotels on the island and, while it is child friendly, it wouldn’t necessarily be the first choice for families.
Honeymoons
For most of the year LUX* Le Morne offers a fantastic deal for honeymooners where there is a 50% discount given to the bride or 25% discount per person for same sex couples.
...On arrival the couple are provided with a T-shirt, a Pareo, a fruit platter, a bottle of sparkling wine and a special gala meal for 2.
LUX* Le Morne really do go out of their way to make the stay a memorable one and the hotel can easily arrange special dinners on the beach or by the pool.

The " Pure Discovery " experience commences at 12am on the day of your arrival at the hotel & finishes at Midday on the day of your departure. Minimum stay 5 nights.
Weddings
Weddings, conducted by a Civil Official, can be organised in wonderful tropical surroundings, in the gardens or on the beach itself. The island is the perfect, romantic setting for a wedding. After a photo session, there is a special aperitif at the Bar, followed by a romantic candlelit dinner, either on the beach itself, at a special table in the restaurant or on your own terrace or balcony.
On wedding days, the hotel offers a wedding cake and a special menu, as well as a bottle of bubbly. The next morning, there is a special wedding breakfast on your own terrace.
To make your holiday even more romantic. Couples can opt for a whole range of extras, including Sega dancers. To make the wedding day perfect, you can also add sessions in the Spa, a manicure and pedicure or a leisurely hour or two with a hairdresser. Certain formalities need to be completed, but full details can be given to you at the time of booking.
Customer Reviews of the Lux* Le Morne
Excellent variety but the Vegetarian food was a bit of a performance with special requests. Given they put out so many dishes in the buffet why didn't they just make some meat and fish free. It's as though you have to put out vast amounts of meat and fish because that reflects the 5 star. For all their wonderful chefs the vegetarian food at Simbambili was better.
The staff were a delight. The room superb and the little extras like the pedalo etc nice.

We wanted somewhere quiet, somewhere we could relax and enjoy some time sitting in the sun doing nothing, which was exactly what Lex Pavillons delivered. It is not a busy or noisey resort, which was ideal for what we wanted. The location is fantastic, the food very good, and staff extremely friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend Les Pavillons for a relaxing beach holiday.

The hotel was beautiful and in a pictueresque location. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
The rooms are stunning with lovely bathrooms and views over the sea.
Drinks at the bar were very expensive though so I would recommend booking all inclusive as it is not good value for money to buy drinks separately.
