andBeyond Savute Under Canvas is a mobile tented camp which introduces you to the natural wilderness highlights of Savuti, a famous corner of Chobe National Park, one of the top wilderness reserves in the world and home to the largest single concentration of elephant. Savuti is also a famous battleground for lion and spotted hyena and grazers are plentiful including zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, giraffe, tsessebe and kudu.
Each of the spacious, comfortable mobile tents come with twin or double bed, ensuite bathroom, flush w.c., and al fresco bucket shower (hot water delivered upon request). Comfortable tents form the guest areas for dining, meeting for a pre-dinner drink, or just for whiling the time away between safaris with a good book. Welcoming camp staff serve delicious Pan African meals and traditional bush dinners under the stars.

Honeymoon to Savute Under Canvas
This was not somewhere we should have been sent for our honeymoon. It was 106 degrees F with no AC or even a fan. When we first arrived there I did not think I was going to make it two days. I also think it was shocking to the system since everything leading up to it had been so nice and extravagan…
Wonderful experience and the people running the camp were friendly and the food was great. Our guide was excellent. Sitting at night around the campfire watching the stars was a special time.
