Firstly you will experience Cape Town's vibrant diversity from one of it's most iconic hotels, The Cape Grace. During your time in Cape Town, you'll be taken on inspiring community visits in the company of Uthando's founder, James Fernie . After exploring the sights of Cape Town, you'll fly to KwaZulu-Natal for an unforgettable safari in the renowned Phinda Private Reserve. Along with classic safari activities, guests will participate in a privately guided pangolin research and monitoring experience, supporting the conservation of the world’s most trafficked mammal.
After a brief overnight stay in Johannesburg you will fly onward to Mozambique's breathtaking coast, to stay at andBeyond Benguerra Island Lodge. A tropical paradise tucked into a lush indigenous forest and looking out onto a picturesque crescent of sandy beach. During your stay at Benguerra, you will join a team of dedicated 'Oceans Without Borders' researchers to tag key marine predator species in the Bazaruto Archipelago, before an enriching dinner with the researchers and a representative from African Parks to learn more about the important work they do. On the final night of your stay, you will have the exclusive pleasure of a farewell dinner with the lodge manager.
