Elewana Sand River Camp is situated on the banks of the Sand River, a secluded and private corner of Kenya's Maasai Mara, offering spectacular views across the plains towards Tanzania. From your tent you will be able to enjoy at abundance of birdlife and wildlife. In season you will have the opportunity to witness one of the world's greatest natural spectacles - the Great Wildebeest Migration. Elewana Sand River Camp is located at the heart of the migration.
The camp has 16 tented rooms, including 1 family room. The rooms are divided into two separate but adjoining campsites, with each area possessing its own designated dining and public areas, thereby creating an increased sense of exclusivity and privacy. Each room is decorated to reflect the heyday of exclusive safaris, with sumptuous furnishings, reminiscent of the classic era of African adventures.

Hannah and Scott the managers are incredible. The customer service we received from every person who worked there was over the top. We especially loved getting to have Daniel as our driver again.
Another great camp, although a lot more basic, being in a tent. My only criticism was that the water in the tents was provided in thermos flasks with crystal glasses.
