Dulini River Lodge is tucked away in a quiet corner of the Big 5 Sabi Sand Game Reserve (Greater Kruger), an area which is particularly famous for its leopard sightings. The lodge sits in the shade of a grove of ebony trees right on the edge of the Sand River. Eight luxury suites spread out along the shady bank with dramatic close-up views of the river. Cool off in the private plunge pool, while enjoying the sight of a herd of elephant drinking or timid bushbuck browsing the riverside thickets.
Following an exciting refubishment, Dulini River Lodge re-opened in May 2018 to display it's stunning new rooms. Sitting right on the bank of the river, the Lodge offers spacious river suites connected to the main lodge by boardwalks. Modern and luxurious, each room has panoramic glass panelling and new ensuite bathrooms, complete with outdoor showers.
The main lodge itself has also undergone refurbishment. With the addition of a wine cellar, state of the art gym and lap pool, guests have all the modern conveniences they need while escaping the bustle of everyday life. Dulini River Lodge is reached either by a 90 minute charter flight from Johannesburg into an airstrip within the Sabi Sands or an approximately 2 hour drive from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. If you were to drive from Johannesburg the drive time would be approximately 5.5 hours.
