Rattray's on MalaMala offers guests a step back in time to the colonial safaris of old. Guests are afforded excellent game viewing opportunities with the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve acting as the perfect backdrop to the ultimate safari experience. The lodge bears all the hallmarks of intimacy and luxury, blended with distinctive colonial refinement along Rattray's 40 plus years of experience in the business.

Known as khayas, the Zulu word for home, the suites provide the perfect levels of luxury with elegant bathrooms and 24 hour air-conditioning while the private outdoor shower and veranda with a heated plunge pool places guests closer to nature. There are both indoor and outdoor dining options in the rooms.
Meals can also be served on the main safari deck of the lodge, which affords guests the chance to enjoy casual game viewing while enjoying their meals. Review of Rattrays on Mala Mala
8 single family homes beautifully appointed with his and hers bathrooms, AC, deck, pool, laundry
service included. Very spacious for 2 people. Food in the common area dining room was of 5 star
The property and location in the Sabi Sands is special. Our game driver., Fritz, was a absolutely outstanding. Knowledgeable and personal. He made our experience. My only negative comment and reason for 4/5, the food was only fair at dinner.
