Waterside Lodge

Thornybush Waterside Lodge is tranquilly situated on the banks of a lake, with phenomenal outlooks on the African bushveld and enclosed by well-kept gardens and leafy trees. The lodge blends well into its surroundings, complementing the locale with quaint timber and thatch styling. We so enjoyed every minute we spent there, the Safari, the food, the service....everything. It was not like anything we had previously experienced.

We were well looked after throughout our stay and our room was very comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the private honeymoon dinner on our last night, the little touches (running a bath for us, for example), were very thoughtful and special. The safaris were an absolutely amazing experience that we will never forget!
