Nxai Pans
The Nxai Pans lie north of the Kalahari Dessert adjoining the vast salt pans of the Makgadikagi. The Nxai Pan is dominated by a sea of grass cropped short by springbik, wildebeest, zebra, buffalo and other grazers. The best time to visit this area for game viewing is between December and April, though access can be more difficult if the rain has been heavy.
