Day 1

Catch your overnight flight from Philadelphia International Airport to Entebbe International

Day 2 - 4

3 nights at Wildwaters Lodge | Jinja

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport you will be met by a member of the Mahlatini team who will transfer you by road to your hotel.

Day 5 - 6

2 nights at Paraa Safari Lodge | Murchison Falls

Today you will have an early morning start for Murchison falls, with stops at places of interest. Proceed to the Nile and cross by ferry straight to the lodge. Enjoy various safaris by both game vehicle in the delta circuit and boat in the calm Victoria Nile, venturing closely to the "Devil's Cauldron." You have an option to hike to the top of the Murchison Falls, from this vantage point you will have an opportunity to see the Nile's beauty perfected as you watch the Nile forced through a seven-meter cleft in the rocks and plunge 45 meters below, forming a spectacular rainbow

Day 7 - 8

2 nights at Kyaninga Lodge | Kibale

Today you will be transferred to the airstrip for your onward flight via light aircraft to Queen Elizabeth. On arrival you will be met by your private driver who will transfer you to your lodge. Chimpanzee tracking starts early in the morning. The guide will provide detailed explanations on not only primates, but also on all the forest's fauna and flora, ensuring that your walk is both informative and enjoyable. This walk is excellent for viewing bird life and primates in close quarters.

Day 9 - 10

2 nights at Mweya Safari Lodge | Queen Elizabeth National Park

Today you will make your way to Queen Elizabeth National Park, following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain Range most of the journey. During your time here you will have the opportunity to view a wide variety of animals from game drive vehicles as well as a unique boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, headed into Lake Edward. Lion, Elephant, Cape buffalo, Warthogs, Leopard, Hyena, Mongoose, Waterbuck, Ugandan Kob, Hippo & a prolific bird life are to mention a few!

Day 11 - 12

2 nights at Ishasha Wilderness Camp | Queen Elizabeth National Park

Today, you will head out to the Ishasha sector of the Queen Elizabeth National Park. Explore the Ishasha sector, pristine and untouched, famous for its tree climbing Lions which are unique to this region.

Day 13 - 15

3 nights at Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp | Bwindi

Today, you will head out to Bwindi via the Ishasha sector of the Queen Elizabeth National Park, onto your next lodge. During your Gorilla Tracking, experienced wildlife guides along with trackers and porters will accompany you through the ever-green forest. The journey, through dense foliage and up steep climbs, leads you to lifetime experience of viewing mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. After finding the Gorillas, you will have an opportunity to be within meters of these magnificent apes, sharing in their daily lives and experiencing their day-to-day activities. With an estimated 850 Gorilla population in the world, spending one hour with a Gorilla family is a once in a lifetime experience! In the afternoon, you have option to visit a women project (Ride 4 a woman). It's a charitable organization set up to support women struggling with poverty, HIV and domestic violence. Your visit indirectly supports the project work and while here, you may participate in basketry, weaving, making local dishes and have an opportunity for last minute craft shopping. The Batwa Community visit is a mind-opening adventure you will never forget as you go for an incredible day hike in the rain forest with the elderly Batwa (pygmy) guides. See how the Batwa lived and hunted, learn about medicinal plants, and watch for animals and birds. You will share a traditional meal with the Batwa, hear ancient legends and traditional songs, and join in on a mock hunting party. You can even test your skill with a Batwa bow and arrow and participate in traditional dances.

Day 16

Today you will be transferred back to the Kihihi airstrip for your onward flight via light aircraft to Entebbe International Airport. Here you will connect with your onward flight home.
